It’s been a big year for Miranda Kerr from career milestones to heavily publicised personal upheavals – namely a separation from her husband of two years, Orlando Bloom. Speaking for the first time since announcing their split the Australian supermodel spoke to BAZAAR’s deputy editor and beauty director Eugenie Kelly about dealing with such a personal matter in the public eye.

“It’s difficult for anyone to go through a separation, whether it’s on a public scale or not,” she reveals in our new issue, on sale today. “We still love and care for each other deeply. Flynn [their two year old son] is the most important thing in both our lives. And because we share that bond, we both feel that it’s important to be united.”

The supermodel, who recently turned 30, also discusses her burgeoning empire, juggling work and motherhood and finding balance amongst the chaos that undoubtedly comes with being the world’s second highest-earning supermodel.
